  • The questions in the pop quiz in class in heaven are math equations of first degree in the anime, of second degree in the manga.
  • When entering the underground station to collect some water (chapter 16, episode 6), in the manga Kiruko realizes that they're entering a trap and runs out. Instead of the vigilante bandits being inside of the station itself as in the anime, in the manga Kiruko finds them out on the street before the bear begins chasing them. When Kiruko and Maru are waiting that the bear get far, in the anime they remove their wet shoes and socks.
  • At Totori's hotel, Kiruko and Maru wear shoes in the anime, in the manga they don't.
  • When Maru and Kiruko say that they are sorry to Totori, she is half dressed in the anime (naked in the manga), in the anime she doesn't say to be 13 years old (as she says in the manga) but in the anime is shown a school uniform in her room.
  • In the manga Kiruko remembers about Usami's gun before they hear the gunshot.
  • Kaminaka Shino is informed about the soldiers by Sawatari in the anime, by the English speaking foreigner in the manga.
  • Kiruko notices the sleeping bag in the Walled Town in the manga, in the anime is Maru instead to do it.
  • Juichi gives bandaids and car key to Kiruko inside the house in the anime, instead in the manga they are in front of the house.
